To those who often make Kway Lapis with the leftover egg whites, bake this cake. I learnt this cake a few years back.
Mamer Cake400ml egg whites
250gr. sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa power
(A)
100gr. hk flour/ cake flour}
100gr. bread flour } sieved together
1 tsp baking powder }
1 tbsp ovalett
1 tsp vanillin/vanilla essense
(B)
200gr melted butter
Beat together all the ingredients in (A). Egg white & sugar beat together till stiffThen mixed with (A) Lastly fold in the melted butter. Divide into two portions 1/4 of the portion- mixed with cocoa powder. Scoop 4 tbsps cocoa powder then top up with the plain. Scoop 3 1/2 tbsp of cocoa then the same mount of white. Continue with the procedure until finished.Bake in the oven 180C (either two 8" or one 10" cake tin)
